Implementing the program of supporting industry development (SI) in 2019 chaired and sponsored by Department of Industry – Ministry of Industry and Trade, Vietnam Association for Supporting Industries (VASI), in conjunction with the Department of Industry – Ministry of Industry and Trade organize the enterprises group join The supporting industries delegation to develop North American market and attend 2019 CMTS Fair. This is the largest international fair for manufacturing industry in Canada, held every two years in the city of Toronto. The delegation consists of 21 enterprises – these are typical enterpries among more than 200 member companies of VASI, with manufacturing experience for domestic multinational companies, as well as exporting products to developed markets such as Japan, Korea, and Europe, as well as North America. At the same time, representatives of VASI and the Department of Industry also participated as leaders.
On September 30 and October 1, the delegation attended the CMTS Toronto 2019 fair before moving to Montreal to attend the Vietnam-Canada Manufacturing Industry Forum in Montreal with B2B trade connection activities. This forum is co-organized by the European – American Market Department – Ministry of Industry and Trade and Vietnam Trade Office in Canada.

Ending the working program in Canada, the delegation flew to New York, USA on October 3, before attending the Vietnam-US Manufacturing Industry Forum in New York with B2b trade connection activities. On October 6, the delegation continued to move from New York to Washington D.C. to prepare for the Workshop with the American Mechanical Association (AMT) and manufacturing businesses in neighboring states such as Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
