On March 29, 2019, the Central Institute for Drug Quality Control held a review workshop on drug quality inspection and supervision in 2018 and implemented the 2019 work of the Drug and Cosmetic Testing System in the Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province.
Attending the workshop were nearly 500 delegates from Departments, Departments and Institutes under the Ministry of Health; Department of Health of provinces and cities; 62 Testing Centers of provinces and cities and representatives of nearly 100 testing laboratories and quality control laboratories of pharmaceutical and cosmetic manufacturing enterprises nationwide.
Speaking at the Conference, Mr. H’Yim Kdok – Vice Chairman of Dak Lak People’s Committee on behalf of the provincial officials and officials expressed his joy to welcome delegates to the meeting. the seminar in meaningful March with this plateau. He also wished the Seminar great success, wished all the delegates to the Workshop had a working trip to achieve many results, have interesting experiences and had a good impression on the basaltic red soil in Buon Ma Thuot. .
At the seminar, the delegates heard Assoc. Doan Cao Son – Director of the Central Institute for Drug Quality Control presents the Report on results of drug quality inspection and supervision in 2018 and the mission orientation for 2019 of the Testing System.

Attend Workshop, DS. Mr. Nguyen Van Vien – Head of Quality Management Department, Drug Administration of Vietnam gave a presentation summarizing the basic contents of the situation of drug quality in Vietnam in 2018, introducing and clarifying some new regulations on Quality control and testing in Circular No. 11/2018 / TT-BYT dated May 4, 2018 on the Ministry of Health’s regulations on quality of medicines and medicinal materials as well as orientations on management quality and testing in 2019. At the same time, under the authorization of the Minister of Health, Mr. Do Van Dong awarded the decision to recognize the GLP standard laboratory to Hai Duong Center for Drug, Cosmetic and Food Testing and Hai Phong Testing Center.
Within the framework of the seminar, in order to celebrate and recognize the achievements in 2018, the Organizing Committee announced the Decision and held the Certificate of Merit of the President of the Central Institute of Drug Quality Control to 28 collectives and 57 individuals in the National Drug and Cosmetic Testing System. In particular, the delegates attending the Workshop with over 2000 officials in the state testing system were very happy when TTND.PGS.TS. Trinh Van Lau – Former Director of the Central Institute for Drug Testing was honored to be awarded the First Class Labor Medal by the State.
